Food for Life continues to offer grocery distributions in Chino

Food for Life Ministry will hold a grocery distribution 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 2, from its warehouse, 4712 Cheyenne Way, Chino.

“It’s a whole new season for food banks,” Cindy vande Steeg, a founder and secretary of Food for Life, said in a news release. “While we haven’t seen a huge demand spike yet, we do have new folks coming every week.”

The Chino-based ministry is continuing to hold three food distributions a week from its warehouse — 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays. Distributions that were originally scheduled at other locations will be held at the warehouse until further notice.

Families may receive food from Food for Life once a week. Participants must bring a form of identification.

Food for Life welcomes donations of food and money, and volunteers are always welcome.
