Image
Hannah Brown's Alabama Hannah moniker has resurrected on Dancing With the Stars . Hannah responded to rumors that shes dating her DWTS partner Alan Bersten with a major callback to her time on the Bachelorette . She departed Season 15 of Bachelorette in July sans partner and has since joined Season 28 of DWTS . Hannah and Bersten have since become the subject of dating rumors due the couples onstage chemistry. During an Instagram Q&A on Berstens Instagram Story on Sunday, Sept. 29, the two finally set the record straight. While at dinner with Hannah, Bersten fielded a series of questions from fans that range from snack preferences to whether or not Brown gets hangry. When the two get to the question in regards to romance rumors (are yall a thing ??), she looked into the camera and joked, Yeah, were a thing. Team Alabama Hannah! Hannah, of course, received her Alabama Hannah moniker during her introductory stint on the Bachelor franchise. She first appeared in Season 23 o

Dodgers have a healthy Corey Seager this October, which is a welcome change

The answer came quickly, only the briefest pause for reflection and to review the inventory of past problems. “No.” With that, Corey Seager acknowledges a fact – he has never really entered a postseason with the Dodgers in good health. In 2015, Seager was a September call-up, handed the job as the Dodgers’ starting shortstop (over veteran Jimmy Rollins). By the time the Dodgers were eliminated by the New York Mets in the NL Division Series, the 21-year-old Seager had played more than 150 games after never having played more than 118 in a season in his life. He went 3 for 16 (.188) with eight strikeouts against the Mets. In 2016, Seager had just fashioned a regular season that would make him the unanimous choice as NL Rookie of the Year and a finalist for NL MVP. But he was running on fumes in the postseason with an unspecified leg issue that he still hesitates to acknowledge. “Yeah, pretty much (ran out of gas),” said Seager, who hit .205 before the Dodgers were eliminated in the

Desmond King, Chargers defense deliver more good than bad against Dolphins

COSTA MESA — A content Desmond King approached Casey Hayward in the locker room and shared the good news of his multi-sack performance against the Miami Dolphins. The Chargers’ slot cornerback delivered a stat line that resembled something a dominant pass rusher would do. So of course, King wanted to share with his teammate after Sunday’s 30-10 victory at Hard Rock Stadium. “He came and told me today, ‘I had three sacks,’” Hayward recalled, “and I was like, ‘Wow. I didn’t even notice that.’ … He had a good game.” King was officially credited with 2.5 sacks along with four combined tackles and a forced fumble. He almost added a safety when he sacked former UCLA and St. John Bosco High quarterback Josh Rosen at Miami’s 1-yard line in the fourth quarter. But King’s delight didn’t last long. King noticed he was receiving the blame on social media for the Dolphins’ lone touchdown, a 34-yard touchdown that came off a DeVante Parker wheel route in the first quarter. Some pointed the fin

Justin Bieber & Hailey Baldwin Got Married... Again

Image
They have been pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Bieber again. Just as the photo of the save-the-date that TMZ shared back in August promised, Justin and Hailey Biebers second wedding happened on Sept. 30. According to People , the already-married couple tied the knot Monday evening (again). Over the last several months, the couple reportedly planned and postponed their wedding multiple times , but the wait has come to an end. Per People's source, the "What Do You Mean?" singer and the model's second round of nuptials took place at Somersat Chapel at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina, just as previous reports teased. This celebration of their union happened a year and some change after they reportedly got hitched at a New York City courthouse on Sept. 13. After the secret courthouse wedding, a source told People that Hailey and Justin would eventually throw a "big blowout" so they could honor their marriage with their loved ones. There have been a

How To Delete Your Old Email Address From The Early 2000s In A Flash

Image
Admit it: You didn't always have that super professional, resum-friendly email address that you use for all your work correspondence. You, just like everyone else who grew up when email addresses were becoming a thing, might've had an email username along the lines of "koolgirl365" or "hotchick13." And that's totally OK. But if you want to find a way to bury it away forever or delete all proof of the types of conversations you were having when you were prepubescent, you might want to learn how to delete old email addresses . While Gmail is one of the largest email services now , just a decade ago it was going up against a bunch of other email services like Hotmail, Yahoo, and AOL. But despite how each was ranked back then or is ranked now, the reality is that your early 2000s account with them still exists and is more likely than not storing all the old messages between you and your best friends. But, have no fear. If you don't want to be haunted

As California passes landmark legislation, athletes celebrate and NCAA cautions

Image
With the flick of a pen, California and the NCAA are now on a collision course. Gov. Gavin Newsom revealed Monday that he signed Senate Bill 206 into law last week, permitting college athletes to profit from their names, images and likenesses, putting the state on a track to potentially upend amateurism in college sports. It’s one of the core principles of an NCAA system that has thrived on a system of giving student-athletes scholarships instead of paying them salary. That system has been under increased scrutiny, particularly as influential athletes like the Lakers’ LeBron James have spearheaded criticism of the NCAA and its institutions for profiting off of multi-billion-dollar TV deals and other enterprises. It was fitting then, that Newsom’s signature was televised and announced by The Shop, James’ HBO show, alongside former UCLA basketball star Ed O’Bannon — who has fought the NCAA in legal battles for years — and UCLA gymnast Katelyn Ohashi. It’s likely a starting bell in a

Coastal Commission says San Clemente homeless site may violate Coastal Act

San Clemente city officials say they are “confused and vexed” by a discussion at a California Coastal Commission meeting regarding the likely need for a coastal development permit for the homeless campsite at the city-owned maintenance yard. Prompted by a group from Santa Ana’s Elder Law and Disability Rights Center, speaking at the commission’s Sept. 11 meeting in Newport Beach, the discussion included a request for punitive action against the city. Jack Ainsworth, executive director of the coastal commission, suggested San Clemente will need a coastal development permit from the commission to keep the campsite operating. “We have been investigating the actions by the city and believe a permit is required for this campground they created,” Ainsworth said. “We’ll follow up with a letter.” The campsite was established at the Avenida Pico property after the San Clemente City Council issued an emergency ordinance in May requiring all homeless people camping in the city to move to the

Creatures of the sea rise out of sand during 58-year-old Newport Beach contest

There were strict rules to follow during the contest on the sand. Decorative materials had to be natural and found on the beach. Buckets could be filled with seawater and plots could be watered down prior to the start time. No more than eight workers at a time were allowed to create their masterpieces. But the most important rule for the annual sandcastle contest held near the shoreline at Corona del Mar? Make sure you have a good time.
