Tesla plans to offer its self-driving technology as a subscription service "probably towards the end of this year," CEO Elon Musk told investors during the company's quarterly earnings call on Wednesday. Tesla's "Full Self-Driving" feature, which helps the vehicle navigate highways and park on its own, is available for $7,000 for customers who purchase it upfront. CFO Zach Kirkhorn said buying the feature upfront will still be "the least expensive plan," but a subscription option would let customers take advantage later or spread the costs over time. Food for Life Ministry will hold a grocery distribution 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 2, from its warehouse, 4712 Cheyenne Way, Chino. “It’s a whole new season for food banks,” Cindy vande Steeg, a founder and secretary of Food for Life, said in a news release. “While we haven’t seen a huge demand spike yet, we do have new folks coming every week.” The Chino-based ministry is continuing to hold three food distributions a week from its warehouse — 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays. Distributions that were originally scheduled at other locations will be held at the warehouse until further notice. Families may receive food from Food for Life once a week.
