Citrus Valley 3, Eastside 2. WP – Loeb. LP – Ayal. S- Guzman. Leading hitters – Flores (CV) 2-3, Lopez (CV) 2-3, Ortega (E) 2-4, Foley (E) 2-4. 2B – Foley (E).

Highlights: With the score tied going into the bottom of the 5 inn. Carlo Flores hit a single, stole 2nd and 3rd base and then was balked home to score the winning run. Sr. LHP Brent Loeb pitched 6 strong innings, 6k’s, and 2 err

(Citrus Valley is 4-2-1. Eastside is 3-5.)

Mountain Pass League

Tahquitz 5, West Valley 0. WP – Shephard. LP – Sandoval. 2B – Simmons (WV).

(Tahquitz is 4-3, 1-0 in league. West Valley is 3-1, 0-1.)

San Jacinto 4, Beaumont 3 (9 inn.). WP – Flores. LP – Meza. Leading hitters – Rivero (SJ) 3-4, Flores (SJ) 2-4. 2B – Rivero (SJ).

Highlights: Andrew Rivero went 3-4 including the game tying RBI single in the bottom of the 7th inning.  Fabian Correa allowed 3 hits in 7 innings and scored the winning run in the bottom of the 9th inning.

(San Jacinto is 5-2, 1-0 in league. Beaumont is 5-3, 0-1.)

Hemet def. Yucaipa, 25-20, 19-25, 26-24, 25-18. Kills – Simmons (H) 16, Scheuble (H) 14, Schnake (H) 11. Digs – Cordova (H) 11, Scheuble (H) 10, Schnake (H) 6.

Highlights: The Hemet Bulldogs had a combine 26 block kills points for the match. Jared Schnake (H) transitioned from OH to Setter and had a total of 18 assists.

(Hemet is 7-2.)
